Constant research, refinement, and change. And what will be left, is the perfect you! We will continue this process, there is no end. Exploring many different systems and thousands of different techniques….just to eventually hack away the inessentials. just to make you think and “research your own experience”. We will make you constantly question the system, question yourself, and question your beliefs…. It is not the coaches role to assign techniques that you will do, but rather, we are experts in helping you find your own path. As a coach, we may teach you something that we do not like, but maybe you will. Our curriculum is not based around becoming a clone of your coach. As Bruce Lee would say, “a pointer of the way, not a giver of the way”. We will help you discover the martial artist that you will be… we are your Coach. We are your training partner and your training guide. We are all equal, but we do have different roles. Respect for each other will not come from fear. Unless you’re a Sifu master right out of the gate, replaying levels is extremely important to get your age down and stand a fighting chance of seeing the game through to the end.Our school does have formality and tradition, but not in a typical traditional martial arts way. This allowed me to jump into the game’s second stage in much better shape. However, after a couple more attempts with a better understanding of the game’s combat, I managed to complete the first level at the age of 25. This meant I had to start the second level from that age. Because of this, replaying older levels can be highly beneficial.įor example, the first time I completed level one, I was in my mid-60s. You’ll start new levels at the age you completed the previous one, but you can actually replay older levels to get your age back down. Once you reach your 70s, your next death will mean lights out. Every time you die, your character gets a little older. This is due to the game’s unique aging mechanics. Replaying levels is practically a requirement in Sifu.
